U0001 — High Speed CAN Communication Bus
NetworkhighA module found a problem on the high-speed CAN data wires.
Symptoms
- Many warning lights
- Gauges dead or jumping
- Scanner can't connect
- Car may not start
Common causes
- Broken or shorted CAN wire
- Water in a connector
- Faulty module pulling the bus down
- Missing terminating resistor
How to fix
- Battery OFF: measure OBD pin 6 to 14 (≈ 60 Ω)
- Key ON: each CAN wire to ground ≈ 2–3 V
- Unplug modules one at a time
Can I keep driving?
Not recommended — many systems may stop working.
