U0155 — Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster
NetworkmediumAnother computer in the car stopped getting messages from the meter. The meter has no power, no ground, or is not connected to the data wires.
Symptoms
- Meter or screen dead or flickering
- No dash light
- Warning lights act strange
- Same code in many computers
Common causes
- Meter fuse blown (ECU-B, GAUGE or MET)
- Bad meter ground
- Loose or rusty meter connector
- Damaged CAN wires behind the dash
- Meter itself faulty
How to fix
- Check all meter fuses
- Key ON: check 12 V on the meter's IG+ pin
- Check the ground pin to body ground
- Unplug and clean the meter connector
- Check CAN-H / CAN-L wires to the meter
Can I keep driving?
Usually yes, but you may have no speedometer or warning lights. Fix soon.
